Horse heads - Tutorial by TinyGlitch Horse heads - Tutorial by TinyGlitch
Profiles!

I'm not very good at explaining these things but I did my best. And once again, this is just how I draw horses, and while it's very good training to try to stick to their correct anatomy, it's still all about finding a style that you're comfortable with!

I hope it helps!

Iiiii'm just here to point out that there are Arabians with dead straight profiles but their eyes and nostrils make it look dished -- I suppose it'd be great to cover it as the look (I've noticed D:) is tricky as hell to pull off.

Ah, yes. But I overdid it just to point out that the easiest way to draw an arabian is to make a dished head, cause not everyone can pull off drawing an arabian with a straight face and still making it look like an arabian. But thanks for the heads up c:

Aw nooo!
Well I'll hopefully put out more tutorials in the future, especially more with horse heads cause they're the hardest part to get right if you're looking to draw a certain breed, so I'll probably take what you said in mind c:

Yep, heads are crucial. Expression too. And smoothness vs shagginess. And... I'll shut up now X3
